Spotlight: Pop-Up Pepe

Pop-up restaurant alert! On Sunday March 25th, one of my co-workers and her beloved will take over Addie's Pizza in Oakland for one evening of good food and wine in the company of family, friends and admirers. Check out details here. What is a Pop-Up, you ask? It's when a venue vacates the premises to allow their space to be "occupied" for an extra-special limited time, by another party who brings in their own food, beverage, napkins, cooks, servers, sommelier, and customers. In this case, Sequoia and Andrew are testing the waters for their collective dream-restaurant called Casa Pepe (named for her father). I brainstormed a logo and business card for them, based solely on the words "rustic" and "typewriter." Although they ended up going with a completely different idea, I thought I'd share the results here. Bon appetito!

I love square business cards!
