Occupy the Post Office

This completely mailable postcard was the product of an idle misty Monday morning in the cross-section of art and activism. I hand-stamped the lettering, tinted the edges with some of my coffee, and added the cheery balloon for good measure. Paired with a vintage-inspired postcard template, I printed these out on some cardstock I had lying around my workspace, and within hours of posting photos on Facebook I had a paying customer!

I've had a lot of people tell me that these postcards might very well end up in a history book one day, as a primary source in the chapter about the Occupy Wall Street movement that took place in the early 2010s. Weird.

Get these at my Etsy site, if you want to share some 99% lovin' via snail mail! Contact me if you want a some personalized cards, e.g. "Greetings from Occupy Harvard," or Brooklyn, or Glencoe, or wherever your heart is.
